| Looking Glass is a loosely knit group of fun seekers who have been organizing monthly square and contra dances, workshops, and other traditional music and arts activities for nearly 30 years. We are a volunteer, non-profit organization, and anyone is welcome. We hope you can join us for a contra dance sometime soon. Dancing is fun, good exercise, and movement to music with a group of smiling people. Join us on the floor and give it a try, we think you'll like it. There are 2 monthly dances in the Lansing Area - ours are on the Third Saturday of each month. Most dances take place at Central United Methodist Church 215 N. Capitol, in Lansing.
Beginner's workshops start at 7:30 p.m.; the dance is from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. Unless otherwise noted, cost is $7 for Looking Glass Members, $8 for the public, and $4 for students (high school, college) with ID. Children under 15 are admitted for free! Check the calendar to verify price and location. |
