Michigan-based Pink Floyd tribute band brings to life the creepy synchronicity that happens when Dark Side of the Moon gets played as soundtrack while watching The Wizard of Oz. The Feb. 5 show at Michigan Theatre ratchets the uncanny weirdness up a few notches with a rare live performance of this phenomenon, including a laser light show.

Harpsichorist Ed Parmentier returns with his wife, organist Sin-Ae Chun, to illuminate some of the masterpieces of J.S. Bach, Family and Friends. Pieces on the program will include a Handel Organ Concerto and a Bach Brandenburg Concerto. The concert will be held at the magnificent First United Methodist Church in downtown Jackson.

The award winning jazz vocalist headlines the JSO Guild's 12th Annual Night of Jazz and Blues. Drawing inspiration from the classic jazz singers (e.g., Ella, Billie, Sarah Vaughan) as well as modern artists (Joni Mitchell, the Beatles), Landis mixes up jazz, Latin, blues and a bit of pop. Expect familiar tunes from the Great American Songbook, as well as modern composers like Burt Bachrach. Seating at reserved tables and ticket includes a special hors d'oeuvres buffet from 8:30-9:30 p.m. Cash bar.
