machete

The American
As an assassin, Jack (George Clooney), is never in one place for very long and is constantly alone. After a job takes an unexpected turn in Switzerland, Jack retreats to the Italian countryside. In Italy Jack hides out in Abruzzo, a small, mountainous medieval town. While there Jack tempts fate when he befriends a local priest, pursues a love affair with a beautiful woman, and takes on an assignment to construct a weapon for a mysterious contact.

Machete
Robert Rodriguez presents this spine-tingling tale of vengeance with Danny Trejo (in his first leading role) as the vindictive Machete. After he is betrayed by the organization that hired him, Machete launches a brutal rampage against his former boss and all who were involved.

Resident Evil: Afterlife - 3D
In a world ravaged and destroyed by a virus, a virus that turns humans into the undead, Alice (Milla Jovovich) must continue her quest to find survivors and lead them to safety. Receiving help from an old friend, Alice's battle with the Umbrella Corporation grows deadlier as her and her comrades may be headed straight for a trap.

The Town
Ben Affleck reprises his directorial efforts in this thriller about bank robberies in Charlestown, Mass. Affleck plays a professional thief who falls in love with a bank manager (Rebecca Hall) after a dangerous robbery. He struggles with the relationship, all the while evading a tenacious FBI Agent (Jon Hamm), and dealing with a partner (Jeremy Renner) who doesn't trust the new girl to keep quiet about the robberies and what she saw.

Easy A
Olive Penderghast (Emma Stone) is tired of being a "nonentity" in the realm of high school popularity. In order to climb the social ladder, she gets her gay best friend (Dan Byrd) to fake taking her virginity. The scheme works, and Olive takes on more fake lovers who want to pretend they're getting laid, thus advancing her social and financial status. When the class reads Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlett Letter, Olive pins a red A to her clothing to combat the bad rumors started by her rival, Marianne (Amanda Bynes).

Legend of the Guardians - 3-D
The film follows Soren, a young owl who has always been enthralled by his father's stories of a mythic band of winged warriors who fought a great battle to save all of owlkind from the evil Pure Ones. His older brother Kludd dismisses the outlandish tales, and wishes to surpass his younger brother in his father's favor. This clash leads to terrible consequences as they fall from their tree top home and fall right into the talons of the Pure Ones. Now the legendary guardians may be their last hope.

You Again
Marni (Kristen Bell), a successful PR pro, returns to her hometown for her older brother's (Jimmy Wolk) wedding. She soon discovers that the bride (Odette Yustman) is the one who single-handedly ruined her high school career. To boot, the bride's aunt (Sigourney Weaver) was the arch nemesis of Marni's mom (Jamie Lee Curtis) back in high school as well. The mother daughter duo get ready for revenge and show what happens when you're reunited with the one person you'd like to forget.
