The Book of Eli
In the post-apocalyptic wasteland of a future America, Eli (Denzel Washington) guards a book that may hold the key to saving humanity. Carnegie (Gary Oldman), the despot of a makeshift town, will kill to get his hands on the book and the promises it holds. The Hughes brothers, Albert and Allen, have returned to direct their first film since 2001's From Hell.

The true story of biotechnology executive John Crowley (Brendan Fraser) comes to life. When Crowley's two young children are diagnosed with a potentially deadly neuromuscular disease, he raises money for research scientist Robert Stonehill (Harrison Ford) to develop a treatment that may save his children's lives.

On a trip to Rome to attend the impulsive wedding of her sister (Alexis Dziena), she takes a few coins from a reputed "fountain of love." A band of aggressive suitors, whose coins she took from the fountain, pursue her from Rome back to New York City.
